Support to help you thrive at work — in a way that works for you.

Neurodivergent workplace coaching

If you're neurodivergent and experiencing challenges at work, Access to Work may be able to fund support tailored to your individual needs.

The UK Government's Access to Work scheme provides practical and financial support for eligible people with a disability or health condition to help them start, stay in or progress in work. ADHD and autism are among the conditions specifically included within the Government's eligibility guidance (https://www.gov.uk/access-to-work).

Who is it for?

Access to Work support can be available to eligible people who are already in paid work or are about to start or return to paid work. This can include employees, self-employed people, apprentices and people working from home.

You may be neurodivergent with:

  • ADHD

  • Autism

  • AuDHD

  • Dyslexia

  • another developmental or learning condition

  • or another disability or health condition affecting your work

You do not necessarily need a formal diagnosis to apply for Access to Work, although eligibility depends on your individual circumstances.

How Access to Work works

Access to Work is a government scheme. You apply for the support rather than receiving it automatically.

The Government assesses your individual circumstances and determines what support may be appropriate.

If you receive an award that includes coaching or support of this nature, we can work together within the scope of your approved support.

You can find the latest eligibility information and apply through the official government website:

Check Access to Work eligibility and apply

The amount and type of support available depends on individual circumstances and the outcome of the Access to Work process.

What happens next?

1. Check your eligibility

Visit the Government's Access to Work information and eligibility pages.

2. Apply for Access to Work

You'll be asked about your work, your condition or disability and how it affects you at work.

3. Discuss your support needs

Access to Work will consider what support could help you. You may have an assessment as part of this process.

4. Start your coaching

Once appropriate support has been approved, we'll agree how we work together and focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference to you.

Not sure whether it's right for you?

You don't need to work that out on your own.
